¡Hola SWRFA! will be the first official SWRFA / Folk Alliance event to take place in the country of Mexico, one of the territories represented by SWRFA. Organized in partnership with Access Film Music LLC, the Official Music Partner of the All Americas Independent Film Festival which will be taking place in Ciudad de México August 14 - 16, 2026, this will be the second year Access has produced music showcases as part of AAIFF.
AAIFF is one of the festival members of the ÉCU Group of Film Festivals. Access has been
the Official Music Partner of ÉCU for the past 16 years, producing live music showcases
annually at the ÉCU Film Festival in Paris, France.
¡Hola SWRFA! will feature panels, workshops, networking sessions and one-on-one mentoring
opportunities, in addition to live music showcases, designed to bring together the local music
community for a full day of connection, learning and collaboration. The aim is to strengthen the
local music ecosystems by helping musicians connect with one another and discover resources
that already exist in Mexico City and the country of Mexico.
¡Hola SWRFA! will welcome and foster involvement from the deep and extensive communities
of musicians, bands and songwriters based in Mexico while simultaneously giving artists based
in the USA the opportunity to perform in Mexico City and expand their international connections
and network.
