Queen Bee Music Association & El Rey Court
Join us for a full day of connection, learning, and music at the New Mexico Roots Music Summit, a gathering designed specifically for DIY folk and roots musicians.
The day begins at 9:00am at Queen Bee Music Association, where we’ll host a series of thoughtful panels and discussions focused on the practical realities of today’s independent music world. Topics will include booking, touring, branding, grant writing, community partnerships, recording strategies, digital presence, and building sustainable careers in folk and Americana music.
Whether you're an emerging artist or a seasoned performer looking to refine your approach, these conversations are designed to offer real-world tools, honest insights, and meaningful connection.
Lunch is included, along with coffee and snacks throughout the day, creating plenty of time for informal networking and conversation.
At 3:00pm, we’ll migrate together to El Rey Court for a community open mic, open to both Summit attendees and the public. This relaxed, welcoming performance space will give participants the chance to share songs, test new material, and connect with fellow musicians and listeners in an inspiring Santa Fe setting.
Registration: $36
Includes all panels, lunch, coffee, snacks, and access to the afternoon open mic.
Come spend the day strengthening your craft, expanding your network, and celebrating the places we play.
